We are thrilled to announce that The Astor Apartments (formerly Washington Building) has received the prestigious 2023 Outstanding Achievement Award in Historic Preservation for Housing from the City of Tacoma Landmarks Preservation Commission!

Originally constructed in the 1920s, The Astor at the Washington Building has undergone a remarkable transformation into a thriving 156-unit apartment community situated in the heart of Downtown Tacoma. This project has breathed new life into one of Tacoma's architectural gems, while fully complying with the National Parks Service rehab requirements. Our team took great care to ensure that the apartments boast modern finishes while preserving their historical charm in the common areas and corridors.
